ISLAMABAD, 17 September 2025 -
Philippine Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Emmanuel R. Fernandez,
attended a networking dinner hosted by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce
and Industry (LCCI) for Ambassadors and High Commissioners at the Serena
Hotel in Islamabad. The event was organized to foster stronger economic ties and promote trade between the Lahore business community and the various countries represented by the diplomatic corps. Ambassadors and High Commissioners from several nations gathered to explore avenues for economic collaboration and investment. During the dinner, Ambassador Fernandez vigorously promoted the Philippines as a dynamic and strategic investment destination. He highlighted the country's strong economic fundamentals, skilled workforce, and pro-business reforms. The Ambassador encouraged members of the Lahore business community to explore the Philippines for trade partnerships, manufacturing ventures, and service-sector collaborations. Ambassador Fernandez was accompanied by his spouse, Mme. Alice Kalaw-Fernandez, who joined him in engaging with key members of the LCCI and the diplomatic community. The event was part of the LCCI's ongoing efforts to connect local businesses with international markets and to strengthen Pakistan's global economic partnerships. |
