  OVERVIEW  
 

You can have the Philippine Embassy certify copies of your Philippine documents. To have a document certified, the original document must be presented.

Requests for certified true copies can be done in person at the Philippine Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, or by mail. Appointment is required for in-person service.

 
     
 
 
     
  GENERAL INFORMATION  
 

The Philippine Embassy offers certification services for true copies of Philippine documents such as Philippine passports and dual citizenship identification certificates.

You may request certified true copies in person (appointment required) or by mail.

 
     
 
 
     
  HOW TO APPLY  
 

Please note that the consular officer reserves the right to require additional documents from an applicant to prove their identity and/or citizenship, and ensure accurate and complete personal data entries. The Embassy has no photocopier/printer onsite.

1. Original and Photocopy of Passport or Dual Citizenship Identification Certificate

    • Original document and photocopies for certification

2. Valid ID

    • One (1) original and one (1) photocopy of valid government-issued ID

3. Payment

    • USD 25.00 processing fee per document
    • Additional USD 10.00 per document for next-day release
    • Accepted payment include cash only
 
 
 
     
  HOW TO APPLY (BY MAIL)  
 

1. Prepare Your Documents. Complete your required documents before mailing your application.

2. Mail Your Application. Mail your application to this address:

3. Await Delivery. Once received, your application will be promptly processed. If documents are complete and in order, the Certified True Copy will be processed and mailed out within 3-5 business days after receipt of the application.

The Philippine Embassy assumes no responsibility for any delay or loss during mail delivery, or while the documents are in the custody of the courier service.

 
 
 
  WHAT TO INCLUDE IN THE MAIL  
 

1. Cover Letter

    • Indicate the purpose of your request and the number of copies needed
    • Write your name and contact information (mobile number and email address)
    • List the enclosed documents

2. Document for Certification

    • Original and copies of your document that will be certified (e.g., passport, dual citizenship identification certificate)

3. Valid ID

    • Original and one (1) copy of valid government-issued ID

4. Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope

    • (FOR AFGHANISTAN, KYRGYZSTAN AND TAJIKISTAN) One (1) pre-paid self-addressed courier label and tracking numbers
    • (FOR PAKISTAN RESIDENTS) One (1) pre-paid self-addressed courier label

5. Money Order

    • USD 25.00 processing fee per document
    • Additional USD 10.00 per document for next-day release
